I think I am about 1/2 way thru this job. Got about 8hrs of sanding/polishing into it.

Looks like a hell of alot of work bro. Im looking forward to seeing how it turns out.

What did it look like when you take off the black plastic piece over the swing arm on the drive side?

Just red paint, I didn't take it off tho, bought it on eBay, had some scratches in the paint, I got it just to polish or chrome.

Sanded to 2000 grit, then polished , then saw it looked like crap and started over. Now it is looking pretty good, but the "feels like " temp is 110, so I put it on hold. I may have it powder coated with clear when I am done. I am practicing my polishing technique, started with the front master cyl, I am doing the final and wheels this winter.

Thats gonna look awesome on the Fury, if thats your plan. I cant wait to see the finished product Clueless after the clear coat!
